Delete your account
You can delete your account yourself, in the app, in about a minute. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

In the app
- Open Tauraruwa TV and sign in.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Tap Delete my account at the bottom.
- Read the summary, type your password and confirm.
If you cannot use the app
Send us a message from the email address or phone number on your account and ask us to delete it. We will check it is you and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted
- Your name, email address and phone number (replaced by "Deleted user").
- Your password, and every device and sign-in: all phones are signed out at once.
- Your watch list, watch progress and notifications.
- The link between you and the videos you watched, and the scrambled IP address stored with them.
- Your personal bank account number record and any notes you wrote on payments.
- Any plan you still have is ended. There is no refund for unused days unless the law requires one.
What we keep, and why
- Payment records: reference, plan, amount, date and status, and the receipt images you uploaded, for 6 years, because accounting and tax law requires it. They are kept without your name, email or phone number.
- Anonymous totals, such as how many times a film was watched. These are not linked to you.
- Backups copy your data for up to 14 days; deleted accounts drop out of them as they expire.
You can register again later with the same email address; it will be a new account with no history.
